TALKING POINTS THAT HIGHLIGHT THE BOOKS*
1. What inspired you to create this series? 2. How do you define a "successful divorce?" Is there really such a thing? 3. What is unique about these book compared to the other books on divorce that are currently available? 4. Tell us about the topics that are being covered. 5. Which of the books have you authored? Who are the other writers? 6. Do you have a favorite? Share with us some of the communication strategies you are advocating. 7. Is there something you would like to read something from one of the books that might give the audience an example of style and content? (I would choose the letter on page 3 in "How to Have a Successful Divorce" and tie it to paragraph that addresses the advice from "Friends and Family" on page 5) 8. What are two of the most important messages you would like to convey to people in our audience who are divorcing or about to make the decision to divorce? 9. I noticed you have a section in the chapter entitled "Helpful Attitudes in Divorce Negotiation" called 'Maintain Your Sense of Humor'. Is that possible? (Could conclude by reading the example of humor in divorce on page 35 of "Taking Control of Your Divorce") 10. Where can these books be purchased? *I am willing and able to answer any other questions about divorce the interviewer is interested in asking. |
